If you were a super hero would you wear a spandex costume or a SWAT like uniform?

I would wear regular clothes... why would I dress up as anything???

I'd wear what I wear almost every day; black pants, a black shirt, and my 3/4 coat. Except if I was a superhero, the 3/4 coat would be lined with magazine holders, fitted with sholder-holsters, and my pants would be BDU style with dozens of pockets for various types of incendiary devices and gadgets.

No, I haven't thought about this alot.

You dress like a stereotypical nerd :).

if i were a superhero that had supervillains to fight against, i'd totally wear spandex. you don't want any clothes that restrict your movement or can be pulled over your head while you get beaten down.

SWAT uniforms are pretty lame as far as super heros go. The Saint of all Killers was probably the most badass of all "super heros."

Can you modify the poll to include "other" or "results." Besides the fact that your poll is overflowing with bias towards one result, it is limited in both choice and imagination. Most of the comics I read don't involve spandex.

You guys seem to be missing the point of Tights and Spandex. What's the motivation of a Super Hero? I mean they refuse money, refrain from picking up chicks, and don't say it's for "Justice"(that's just lame). What motivates the Super Hero is the need to Compensate(Over) for the Tights and Spandex! Without the outfit, Super Heroes simply would not exist.

What super heros don't go for the chicks?

Nothing on SNL in the past few years counts as super.

I'd wear a SWAT uniform...it looks like it has more pockets. Pocket space is important..

It is definitely not important if you have a utility belt or don't need to carry crap around with you.

Um, the Splinter Cell "uniform" is latex rubber with attachments on his hips and around his waist. It is JUST AS GAY as a spandex uniform.

amen! I've been looking (only half-heartedly) around for one of those for quite some time. I really, really want one. I can't believe how cool they are . . . and thick, too.

You could stuff it with Kevlar with no visable change, but bullets would bounce off it! and it covers nearly your entire body, too.

I also want one of those sweet red army caps with the ear muffs you can flip up or wear down. I mean, how much cooler is it possible to get?

I don't like everything the reds stood for, but they sure knew how to dress their officers.
