I think it would depend on too many factors to make an uninformed decision. If he was driving a Honda I'd pull him over, other than that, maybe.

I do that when I'm in unfamiliar places and I'm not sure if that's really a curve or if it's an intersection. (or when I'm trailering and some douchebag is on my ass)

Maybe because you don't come to a complete stop when going around curves? The turn signal is a warning to other drivers that you're coming to a stop and turning. I agree it's not entirely necessary if you're in a turn-only lane (though I do it anyway), but it's ALWAYS a good idea to signal.

Does that mean you don't believe in signalling for lane changes on the highway? If you come to a complete stop on the highway to change lanes, I'll definitely pull you over and beat you for resisting arrest 😛
