If you use hand lotion, do you feel a need to wash your hands before applying?

For some reason, I dislike applying lotion when my hands are dirty.

A debilitating condition...

EDIT: It's not a condition. I was joking.

Personally, I feel a need to wash my hands AFTER applying lotion... I can't stand that gross feeling of having lotion on my hands.
Hence I don't use lotion.
Hence I get to keep my man card

FYI men, a lot of females like a man with soft skin, no female I've ever met wanted to be rubbed on or even touched by a dude who's hands felt like he's been breaking concrete all day. If being a "man" means I need to have calluses all over my fingers you can have my man card. I'll gladly keep using my lotion.

there is a thing called gloves

a little more manly than Victoria's secrets scented lotions, but to each their own... :p

you wear gloves when you touch a woman? I don't use Berry Mountain Peach lotion, I use unscented Lubiderm. My GF probably would slap me if I tried to massage her while wearing gloves.

you'd be surprised what a lot of females are attracted to. One time I went with my GF while she was getting her nails done, I got a Manicure cos I was bored and was going to be there for hours doing nothing. Quite a few females commented on how they were impressed at how I wasn't afraid to get one. None of them questioned my man hood or nothing hah. I would have gotten a number or 2 or 3 but I was there with my woman so I just took the compliments and moved on.

man card, now.

You obviously don't live in a cold, dry climate. If you don't put lotion on your hands, they turn into a bloody mess.

real men love to bleed I thought you knew!?

Well if my hands were really dirty I'd hate the idea of making lotion mud on them. I'd probably wash my hands with or without lotion in that case though.

QFT. I get open sores, and blood everywhere, and it hurts like hell, so I have lotion on my desk at work. I'd turn in my man card, but the wife already has it stored away with my testicles. :(

did they think you were there with your sister?

I prefer to wear gloves when handling lumber and cinder blocks so that my hands will be naturally soft and I don't have to put on feminine products.

None of them questioned your manhood because they thought you didn't have one :p

Do you get facials and have your eyebrows waxed as well?

The end result is the same, you fool.

I could say you're the pussy because you can't bear to touch things with your hands. Eh?

haha no, they saw her there with me and seeing how she has black skin and I pasty skin they knew who she was. But that didn't stop them from chatting me up.

and for the record lotion isn't a feminine product. When I went to the Dermatologist because the skin between my fingers kept cracking and bleeding. He told me to buy some lotion. ;)

I don't get facials no, but every one of the 3 times I've gotten a Manicure in the following days I was complimented by females who noticed and were impressed that I took care of myself. "I wish my man would even wash his dirty ass hands once in awhile" call me a metrosexual *hahah shrug* I mean I like my GF and like I said the females I've dealt with mostly seem a bit intrigued that I put time into taking care of myself. Yes I get my eye brows waxed, but that's only because I have a super uni-brow and I don't think there's a female alive who finds them sexy lol.

but that makes me feminine, so basically if I use lotion the dudes will call me a i love you and laugh, and the females will go "umm don't touch me that shit will make me bleed it's so rough"

I think I'll go with having men think I'm gay and me getting some, over being "manly" to the dudes and having females avoid me. But to each his own.

and to the men who have decently soft skin without lotion, lotion still improves the softness. females appreciate soft hands as sixone stated.
