If you stick a piece of paper under my windshield wipers, I have the right to loiter.

What's your take?

  • Hell yea, drop that paper where ever I please.

  • No, it's still loitering, keep it up and the fuzz will nab your ass.

Edit: I'm going to leave the original spelling so that this thread lives on in fail infamy. ATOT wins again.

You stuck your piece of garbage on my property. You had no right to do that in the first place. I'm sure I could find an asshat of a lawyer willing to sue you for vandalism or something of that nature.

Unfortunately, I most definitely believe that I have the right to grab that piece of paper and toss it to the ground.

Why do I do this? Because whatever parking lot I'm in, I want them to know your name. Know what you're advertising, the company you work for, etc. I want the street sweepers to see it as well. If they get pissed off, then I think there's a chance you might be stopped.

Until then, what you place on my turf, I displace to Mother Earth.

Damn straight, I see a piece of paper under my windshield, I'm not leaving that spot. I figure I'll just hang around awhile, maybe read it, maybe annoy some pedestrians, make a few phone calls....just overstay my welcome in general.

Not only would I 'Loiter' but I might even be tempted to 'litter' just because I'm a wild and crazy kind of guy...a rebel if ya will

Paper under your windshield has no impact on your right to loiter.

At first I thought you just made a simple mistake in the title, then I noticed that you made the same mistake in your poll. You should probably go ahead and ban yourself now.

Sure you can throw that piece of paper on the ground. But the fact that you are taking a really really long time to do it, is what is really going to stick it to them!

Apparently, the OP is such a moron he doesn't know the difference between "Loiter" and "Litter."

While I'm prone to toss the garbage on the ground myself, I do so with the full knowledge that a cop COULD write a ticket for "LITTERING," not "LOITERING." (unless I was just hanging around after finding the piece of advertisement.) The fact that someone "littered" by putting their garbage under your wiper doesn't give you the RIGHT to "LITTER."

OP is pathetic. There is no excuse for throwing trash on the ground.

Years from now, when the ground is nothing but trash and filth, everybody will understand because the people before them had the right to litter because somebody put a flier on their windshield. :\
