there is something in the hair to make it stop growing at a certain point

that is why eyebrows do not grow

shave it and it will grow back to where it was before.

Nope. God has hired angels that look specifically for the behavior. If you're caught God removes you from the "Eyebrow Growth" list.

If your eyebrow hairs continually fall out, why do you still have eyebrows?
Apply to eyelashes.

Grab your eyelashes tight with your fingers and pull. You'll probably end up with 2-3+.

They grow back. :p

Yes, its just a slow process . . . VERY slow . . . plus it looks really ghetto while its growing back.

Except for the occasional unibrow or bush fuzzy people, eyebrows are kind odd in that nobody really notices them until you mess with them. Then it becomes quite obvious that you are a tool that shouldn't be allowed within 5 feet of sharp objects.

That is completely wrong.

In a nutshell, depending on the type of hair root and matrix you have, your hair will fall out at a certain length. The hairs on our heads tend to be extremely durable and will pretty much last until we cut them. Same with the hair on our face. Pretty much all terminal hair is like this (coarse, dark, thicker hair) with the exception of arm pits and the like.

The softer hair is known as vellus hair. This type of hair naturally falls out within a short period of time. But sine you have so much of it, you don't notice when it does. But that is why when you shave your leg the hair seems to grow back extremely fast. In reality, your hair always grows that fast, it just falls out quite often so you never notice. It gives the illusion that your hair "stops" growing and maintains a certain length.

That is why people make the common misconception that shaving your eyebrows and what not will only make it grow back faster and thicker. When you do shave it, hair sprouts up immediately and it seems as though you hair is coming in faster then ever before. Or the misconception that your hair doesn't grow at all. Both of these of course, as you now know, are not true.

Remember, in a nut shell. :)

what u r saying is that eyebrow hair doesnt grow long, but if you shave it all off it will grow back to it's original state of being about what it use to be it's length?
