If you see change on the street, do you pick it up?

I pick up several turds a day off the sidewalk left by my dog. I don't pick up a whole lot else, especially with my bare hands...

It's a game-time decision every time. It depends on how lazy I am that day, the amount of the piece (I live in Canada so we have change up to $2), the distance I have to walk to pick it up, if I'm in a rush, etc.

I pick them up and super-glue them to floor at school sometimes.... right in front of a vending machine. 🙂

I believe that the entirety of ourselves is demonstrated in any action, no matter how small.

I provide for three people (more actually), I need all the money I can lay my hands on, so yes of course I pick up change. I found a nickle at the cubs game the other day 🙂

even pennies?

😉

the problem with pennies isn't so much that they're such a small denomination as it is the fact that they seem to be dirtier than most other coins...

My rule of thumb is to always pick up change.

But my rule has a few sub-rules, such as don't pick up anything that is in or near a urinal, etc.

i found a dime on the ground once and didnt pick it up.

proceeded onto the bookstore and the total was $1.10 for my purchase.

how i wish i had picked up that dime....so i wouldnt have to receive 90 cents in change.

yes, even pennies. If I pass up an opportunity, what does that say about me?
