Sounds like a brake booster problem to me once you described the behavior. I would have looked at pulling ABS error codes first and if that checked out probably would have replaced the master cylinder and booster to be on the safe side. Sounds like the booster is giving too much boost.

Thank you environmentalists
lulz.. You sound like the liberal jackasses who blame capitalism when ever something goes wrong like there being an oil spill in the gulf or some shit..

You're an idiot and so is anyone else who is going to squarely blame this braking issue on anyone but the manufacturer themselves. They designed the vehicle, its their problem. If they were serious about improving fuel economy, they'd put a smaller engine in there, add a turbo and call it a day. Your logic is so flawed, that it would be like me blaming a motorist for dying because they were "in the way" when I was driving through downtown at 50mph because I was late for work and had an important presentation to deliver.... Your idiocy isn't a surprise though, just look at this ridiculous thread going on:

The op should remove the ABS fuse and see if his braking returns to normal... Seriously, this will disable the ABS while retaining full braking functionality. ABS systems can sometimes get messed up by a wheel sensor, causing the ABS to kick in when it's not suppose to.
