if you retired early, what would you do with your spare time?

1) I'd probably start golfing again. Once or twice per week.

2) I'd also go for more walks and exercise daily. probably set up a gym at home.

3) Probably start reading books which I just don't have time for now.

4) Research stocks (I would still be doing that as my "job")

5) Possibly buy an old car and restore it. never done it before so I think it would be fun to do atleast once in my lifetime.

6) prepare dinenr for the family daily and become a "good" cook.

7) Clean the house and do all the housework in general.

What would you start doing or do more of?

i'd probably golf more in the summer (already 3x a week.. ) and in the winter become even lazier than i already am...

the likelihood of this happening to me is high, since my wife is almost done her schooling and her job is going to kick mine's a$$

Probably do something related to cars.

Restore, race, drive....just no pimpin' rides and stuff like that.

OR

Buy a farm.....and be a techie farmer.

I don't know for real though, I'm too young to retire anyways, even if I could afford to.

Find two large Maple trees, string up a hammock and have a cooler in arms reach. I would love to be involved in restoring a car.

Open a sports card store, play poker online and open boxes of cards while watching sports

I'd probably do some exploring of parts of the world I have not been too (South America, Africa, Asia).

Play a LOT of hockey and soccer.

Read a lot more than I do.

Work on a few car projects I'd really like to do.

Go hiking, backpacking, camping a LOT.

Spend some time at the beach.

Open up a small pub.

everything you listed, plus travel, and spending more time with my loved ones would be my ideal goal

but in reality, it would probably be multiple lvl 60 WoW characters

Ahhh, start playing chess again! That with books is the perfect combination for mental stimulation. Reading is just good, buyt Chess involves problem solving. Poker though...that's self destructive.

1) Go to estate sales, buy antiques cheap, and make money off of Ebay. (I do this on a limited basis, now)

2) I would do a frame-off restoration of a 69 Camaro Z28.

3) Finish reading all those books that I am half-way through.

4) Do a lot more woodworking, and maybe open a small shop to sell furniture, etc.
