Sponsorship deals and huge systematic support for career racing from 4yrs old and up. Same reason most F1 drivers live in Europe. That's where the competitive racing and money is.

on a 1982 Rizzato bike model Califfone, is it better to have the supercazzola, with the scappellament on the right, or on the left?

I had the opportunity to travel to northern Italy last summer... I was impressed with the number of motorcycles I saw, and quite green with envy over many of them. They obviously take their motorcycling seriously.

Whereabouts do you live, and what kind of bike(s) do you have? 🙂

Glad to have you! What's your experience in the industry?

For me - Been riding for 16 years (SV650S, 2 R6's, Harley Sportster, Gixxer 750, WR250X). Raced in WERA. Was an executive analyst for Cycle Gear, LeoVince, and other industry companies.

Now... I'm just here so I don't gen fined.

i thought this guy was going to lern us bout them motos..😛

Welcome to the Garage, its like my Dads barn with his buddies, but less wrenching and more bsing.

Even with a second body sitting on the bike holding the brake?

That was always my method. Might not work on a bike with a slipper.

Yes, and ultimately I ended up purchasing the special Ducati flywheel holding tool at $180. This was on the Monster 1100 I owned prior. I haven't had to crack any cases on the Multistrada yet but now I have the tool.

Let's hope your handy-dandy holding tool gets rusty setting unused at the bottom of the toolbox... 😀

First big bore motorcycle I ever rode was my Army buddies new ZX10 (1989.) That was also my first ride on a fixed fairing bike... and it was a little unnerving at first... but then I got used to it. Good heavens, that bike was fast!

When are you gonna start answering all our questions?:colbert:

Your busy-ness should not get in the way of our thirst for knowledge.

I can reply to gear-related questions such as clothing(helmets, gloves etc)but anything regarding MECHANICAL stuff is not within my sphere of knowledge ()🙂

Well, lets hear what your experience/history is. With no post history, we have no basis of understanding of what types of knowledge you may have.

Based on your location, are you with any of these?
