Why is it that humans feel a need to hurt each other?

After gaining the answer to this question I would then write a 'spiritually inspired' book called Hurt me? But why? A book about THE ANSWER from one Omniscient Being to a silly mortal.

My book would then go on the New York bestsellers list because all of the god-forsaken middle-aged women and the struggling teens and the pu$$y ass fools out there would buy it.
