Pretty awful. I bet the guy who fired him feels like sh*t, too.

It's sad that somebody's life could be so unhinged by something like that.
 
The poor economy really brings the psychos out of the woodwork.
 
yikes....that is horrible to hear. We had a self-layoff here at my current client. The client has filed chapter 11 and one of the consultants (who works independently) thought he was not going to get his last invoice ($18K) and that the project was doomed...and just left. Turns out that the project is very much going forward (still funded and is part of the restructuring)....so he screwed himself out of $18K most likely and continued employment.
 
Damn it, I reposted.

Apparently the couple agreed to take their lives and not wanting the kids to live with anyone else. So sad.
 
I feel sorry for those who kill themselves in such circumstances, not those who kill others and especially no their own family. As someone who suffers from depression and anxiety I can understand how such a blow could turn someone to suicide and your right DON'T do it, seek help! But I don't get those who turn to murder.
