You look down, they know you're lying and up, they know you don't know the truth. Don't use seven words when four will do. Don't shift your weight, look always at your mark but don't stare, be specific but not memorable, be funny but don't make him laugh. He's got to like you then forget you the moment you've left his side.

Do I believe others use steriods? Yeah. But come on. Palmero? does he LOOK like he's juiced to you? Brett Boone?

The guy is a jailbird, he's gone off about the "conspiricy" to keep him out of baseball and how he's been "blacklisted".

Why in the heck should I believe a word he has to say now? He's not proved himself to be a credible source, and he's not saying this for "the good of the game".

Brett Boone actually got alot bigger compared to his earlier days, his numbers were MUCh better along with the increased injuries that came with them.

If, by "completely logical" you mean ignoring MLB players that have already admitted to using steroids, then yeah that's completely logical. But I'd also be interested in hearing what color the sky is in the world that you live in.

I know for sure it's Ocean's 11 because it's the line the second gives to the guy who has to act as a game commisioner or something. That and I haven't seen those over movies but I know the line.

It's Ocean's 11. Clooney said it to Matt Damon before Matt Damon was to go into the Bellagio as a Gaming Inspector to "fire" the dealer..

Yeah. I knew it was Ocean's 11 because when I thought it was Bourne Identity, I was thinking of the part where she goes in the bank to gets that paperwork and he's prepping her for it. I knew it was something like that, so Ocean's 11 was a very logical choice.

Haven't seen Ocean's 12 yet, is it good?

I haven't seen Ocean's 12 yet either. First time someone mentioned it's existance I assumed they were joking.

its been a while since my interrogation class. If i remember, when the subject looks to the upper left he is trying to remember an event that didnt take place (lie), but if the subject looks to the upper right he is remembering an event that he acutally took part in.

Very interesting... I guess you don't remember the logic behind that?

I love that movie.

Canseco is a total scumbag, but he's probably telling a partial truth. I'm sure there are certain players he actually did give steroids to, and we all know he was on them, but some of the claims he's making are outlandish.

IIRC, the left side of your brain is the creative side, thus when making something up the person will look up and to their left...and well, as far as the right side of the brain goes, I'm pretty sure its the side that has more to do with memory, and thus when one recalls an actual event, theyn look up and to their right.

lol, the misinformation is sickening.

Most people don't look around when they are thinking. Those are just habits that some people have.

Yep, I haven't seen those other movies either. And just for further proof: 7th quote from the top

I love that movie. 12 wasn't bad, but I liked 11 more.

It's left not right! When someone looks left they are lying according to the experts.

OK...so it was bugging me and I Google'd this. According to this and some others I've found, when one looks to their right they are lying:

In addition to the three hand-to-face gestures eye movement is another reliable indication of deceit. It is normal for a person to look up to the left when thinking about the past and up to the right when thinking about the future. For example, if you ask a person the color of their first car, or some other question from their past, they will look up to their left to access their memory. If instead they look up to their right, they are thinking of the future and therefore, they are making up a response. Law enforcement personnel and customs agents are trained to routinely monitor eye movement during interviews.

So Jose was probably lying.
