You drink more milk a week than I do in a year.

:milk;

I don't remember the last time I drank milk...

I never drink milk, I'll eat cereal but never will I drink the milk. I'll drink whatever comes in the spoon with the cereal other than that, I don't drink milk

LOL

This is the best solution! Keep it in the garage, doesn't get fresher than that.

6 gallons of milk in a week is just plain nasty. Ugh, I can barely drink a cup a week.

the lower the fat content the longer the milk will last past the expiry stamp, don't throw it out
on the exipry date unless it smells funky.
you can usually get away with like a week past expiry with 2%. Or go soy milk, usually lasts a month.

Is that true? I always thought it was the other way around - high fat milk keeps longer than low-no fat?

We've often frozen skim milk. It freezes well. When it's thawed you will want to mix/shake it up, otherwise it will be very watery on one layer and ungodly thick on another. But, basically you can freeze it.

2 Tips:

-Make sure the temprature doesn't fluctuate, keep it at a constant temprature
-Don't expose it to light

Why do you post BS? Milk is not going to give anyone heart disease. Much safer to drink than Coke. Regardless, not like people drink pure whole milk anyway. The amount of Cholesterol of that much milk in a balanced diet is not a problem.

"Milk may be frozen for as long as 3 months, provided the sealed container is frozen prior to the best before date. Skim and 2% milk freeze better than homo milk (whole milk). Thaw frozen milk in the refrigerator. If upon thawing it separates, shake well or beat with an electric mixer or rotary beater. Unopened eggnog may be frozen for 2 months, provided it is frozen prior to the best before date. Thaw in the refrigerator and shake well before serving as there may be some ingredient separation during freezing."

Split the carton into a smaller bottle, and freeze half of it, then when you're almost done on the half you have out, get the rest out of the freezer so it can defrost.

2 peopl ein my house get through less than a pint a week most weeks, it always goes off because we don't have cereal or coffee/tea with milk. Normally we split and freeze half.

buy a fridge thermometer.

keep the fridge at 34f-36f.

When you buy milk look at the last sale date on the carton/jug!

Buy the farthest away date you can. ;)

E.G. today is March 28,on the cartons,are dates of 4/01, or 4/05,
buy the milk dated 4/05. :)

I buy 2% milk,at a local store,that sells their own brand,{Stewarts}
they have their own dairy,and the milk seems to be fresher,better quality,
and it is about 10 cents cheaper than at the grocery store.

Don't leave the milk sitting out on your table/counter,pour what you want,
and put it back in the fridge!
;)

You are stupid. Would milk from you be, "troll milk"?
You are dull. Would milk from you be "it went over my head milk"? ;) :p

I'm sorry, I didn't read the newest rules. I didn't know that gay-bashing was now a fun and ATOT support way for nerds to bond.

How foolish I must look...
