Straight out of the 1930s, the Harry Anslinger era. Any repubs pursuing this agenda should be declared unfit for office. If they cant fathom that alcohol is the greater killer and destroyer of lives by far. Total fucktards.

"If you legalize marijuana you're going to kill your kids"

Odd but true. I recently read a study form the University of Bible Thumpers showing a strong correlation between people voting to legalize marijuana and parents who murder their children. This is why Congress needs to legalize it at a federal level. They are mostly elderly so their kids have fighting chance.

Took me a long, long time to figure out the stuff is toxic, and causes judgement to go right out the window in ways you could never smoke enough pot to do.

Republicans are the party of the 1% who could never win an election had they not a huge collection of paranoid idiots that had been trained to fear this and that evil from which the party would save them. These idiots are tended and milked like aphids by the party ants by being kept in a constant state of fear. MJ is just one of many. Think of the size of the comet that will hit the red states if they can't buy 6 books by Dr Seuss.

Really don't think why Americans think they are so special. How many other countries already have legalized marijuana without any issues? Like only Americans are stupid enough to screw this up when other nations have shown no negative effects of having this for years.

Just like socialised health care. Oh we can't do this, our population is too large compared to Canada. Or the opposite end. Why the US has such a gun and prison system problem? Oh gee maybe your precious 2nd amendment isn't so great.

I still fully support pot legalization but stoned workers are annoying as hell.

“Is that my food order sitting under the heat lamps, the one that was supposed to be ready fifteen minutes ago and has been there since I came in?”

“Huh? Oh yeah. Here’s your food, have a great day!”

That would require paying attention to scientific research. We can't have that, not in "Republicania." That is only for people living in the real world.

For that matter, how many states in America have already legalized it without issue.

Many it's just the red states who are stupid enough to screw it up?

that has nothing to do with the legalization of pot.

Meh, I worked food service for 8 years way back when. MJ isn't the pretext for forgetful employees at that level. It just comes with the "you get what you pay for" territory. I met as many people drinking on the job as I did MJ users.

To be fair I've never understood the "lets get high and go to work" mentality. While I will confess to smoking the occasional bowl on a dead-slow overnight shift when there was no work to do anyway, if it were busy it would just make the job more difficult.

Frankly if you have to FIGHT being high to do whatever activity you plan on doing, you probably shouldn't be high while doing it.
