Do you really think they don’t want the black market? They are probably getting something for making sure the black market continues.

That was my point. They like the black market for many, many reasons. Easy arrests/convictions, more police jobs, more prison money, money for large corporations that supply labor/food/clothing/services to prisons, easy way to target/ruin minorities, etc... People who get paid to fuck over drug users for being drug users will lose their jobs without the black market. People who like to put 6x as many black men in jail for drugs as white men (even though they use drugs at the same rate) won't get to keep doing their thing.

I don't want the black market. Me. I. I understand that the powerful people in charge don't want to eliminate it and I was remarking how their words and actions don't match.

Believe it or not I went back to using small Zip-lock bags to store my weed.

I find my bud stays fresh 2-3 times as long as when I leave it in the jar from the dispensary.
C-Vault with a Boveda pack. There's also Jyarz, but I haven't used them. On the cheaper end there's Mason jars. Plastic bags always seemed like trichome magnets to me.

At one point I recall feeling ripped off if I paid more then $20 per ounce!

$25 was considered "uncool" and $30 was downright outrageous!

😀
Way before my time. In college we could get brick weed stems and seeds for $20 per eighth at best. Closer to $50 per eighth for decent and $60 for premium. I remember spending $400 on a QP of higher-end and that was considered a really good price.

Depends on the bags .... nothing much sticks to the inside of the "Glad" branded ones I buy especially if you re-use them like I do.

I used to spend money on those humidity-packs but sealed bags do nearly as well by themselves and its one less piece of garbage in the landfill.

Can't beat the price of "baggies" that's for sure! 😉
