Duct tape vs. Tin foil?

I think there are as many practical usage for duct tapes as they are tin foils. You can use duct tapes to hold just about anything together, patch holes, make ropes, wallet, jeans (you haven't seen duct tape jeans?... hold on). Tin foils are just as awesome, you can keep things cool, hot, improve antenna reception, keep out unwanted rays, jeans, wallet, make cool impressions... etc.

So, what's your candidate of choice? Duct tape of tin foil?

Duck tape, definately. Foil's handy and all, but you can't really fix much of anything with it

Tin foil. There are other tapes out there...and duct tape isn't even the superior tape for duct work. So....

Duct tape FTW.

Though a few here would be lost without their tinfoil...

I chose tin foil. I use tin foil way more then duct tape. Also, it makes a more fashionable hat.

Wouldn't a duct tape hat stick to your hair?

I voted tin foil because I use it all the time <shifty eyes>.

You just need to put some tin foil on it and all will be OK.

though I will say that tinfoil is more reflective, so you could use it to cook hot dogs in the sun. (yep...did it).

not sure you can do that with duct tape.
