I'm sure this is said in many places and has been said before, but I figure I'll get another post on my post count by saying it again.

Pleas make sure all links have a http:// on them... without it when you click the link it ends up looking like this ->>http://forums.anandtech.com/www.members.home.net/username instead of http://www.members.home.net/username

Yes, link to your web page which will forward to telnet: news: or whatever. I believe you can do that with JavaScript.
