Cant leave to get one, i plan on upgrading it, if i change the pixels will that cause for the size to change as in resolution ? I am looking to change it down to like 600x400

640x480 may look nice on your screen, but don't try to print it any larger than 3"x2" or you'll get "stairstepping"

 

about 5-8 pictures.

1. At 600x480, you'll have a black band at the top and bottom of your picture. I think you're using 640x480

2. It'll look OK on the monitor, but it'll look like ass if you print it out. Here's a handy guide:

1 MP: 3x5 print
2 MP: 5x7 print
3 MP: 8x10 print
4 MP: 10x13 print

(MP being Megapixel. 640x480= .5 MP)
