i think the simpsons has the upperhand.

People enjoy complaining. They will watch and do things, just so they can find something to complain about.

There needs to be better american cartoons cranked out. Something that can compete with the likes of anime -- and not those drivel of kids shows or hentai most people associate with it.

For those people who might jump the gun: I did not say " to make american cartoons like anime". They each have their own unique traits. At least the good ones do.
