I would have to go with blind....

Music is my life, i live it, i breathe it, it rules me.... I honestly dont know what i would do without music.....

Ditto, but if I was blind, I wouldn't be able to drive, which is equally important to me- I love to drive.

Yeah, I think if you were deaf, you could still do alot things you do normally.

BTW, is this born this way, or if you had a sudden accident tomorrow? (knock on wood 🙂)
 
Honestly, i'd rather be dead then be either one. I honestly think I'd kill myself if I went either blind or deaf.

If I became paralyzed, I'd kill myself as well.

Im gonna go with sudden accident, say tommorow.... So that you know what each sence is already like before you lost it...

Deaf. Music is great and all, but I like vision so much more 🙂

That said, being either one would drive me insane and I'd probably go off to live as a monk in Tibet or Japan or something.

Life would never be the same. 🙂

Either way, both would be frustrating beyond belief......the sound of silence is unnerving sometimes....

youd be essentially brain dead... id rather be born deaf or blind, then to have experienced it and then lose it... ot would be too great a pain.

i work with a blind guy and he does really well, he's a computer geek and can do nearly everything

but for me , at my age , it would be easier to lose my hearing

i've thought about this a lot because i have no life and i concluded that being blind is better because not being able to see what a person (especially a girl) looks like physically is an advantage. most of us are shallow and write off people based on their looks without even realizing it. that won't happen when you're blind. i'm gonna go jab my eyes out with a pencil right now in fact.

you're right about that. i think its really just unbearable not being able to see or hear. id rather lose my sense of smell, or taste...
