No.

My wife, my child, my friends, my family, everyone I love and care about would be dead.

What in hell kind of life would that be?

Now if I was single and hated everyone I knew, then I would.

This is a good point. Pretty much any job/skills/training you have now would be either worthless or very outdated 100 years in the future. Imagine if someone from 1909 were to suddenly find themselves in 2009. How many jobs from then would be able to easily transition to a job today without any additional education?

Skilled labor such as carpentry, metal working, weaving, pottery, etc. It may not be mainstream but there's a lot of niches in places like restoration, replicas, and re-enactments.

Mathematicians could do well.
Possibly physicists and some engineers too.

Manual labour never goes out of style.

There would be nothing left on this planet in a hundred years, so I answered no.

Anyone appearing from 100 years in the past would have few advantages over the rest of us. He could provide historical perspective / serve as witness to the past and the like but little else.

But imagine if you could bring the knowledge of the past 100 years and let it pay off for you. Although I think I'd prefer to only go back ~50 years or so.

Back to the Future!

That's tough to say... I don't know what the world will be like.

Yeah, sure... Future women will dig my awesomeness because I speak like I am from the year 2009 when I am really in the year 2109... Yeah, sure... I'll get all the chicks. It worked for Edward Cullen didn't it? :p

So, yes.. I'll.. do it...
