If you had just one question...

...to ask Dick Cheney, what would you ask him? Seriously? A "real" question, not some political snipe - I'm talking about an issue question or politics question.

CsG

Edit - Well, I didn't get to ask a question this morning but I wouldn't have used any of these. I was going to ask about our Energy situation and his personal feeling on the bio-Industry.

I got to shake his wife's hand this time too🙂

Were you involved in Halliburton ripping off the government in Iraq?

Why didn't we find WMD in Iraq even though they were there?

That's two questions, jackass. 😀

You can ask him the first, I'll ask him the second.

Are these questions he would answer honestly? Or are you just saying what we would ask in a town hall thing? And since you don't want to here "snipes" does that that you can't ask anything that might make him look bad?

Mr. Cheney.

You have more money than God, You have a bad ticker and you could drop dead at any moment, yet you choose to serve your country and do what you can to help your fellow man, despite the rabid criticism, and attempted humiliation from the left.

Why on earth do you bother?

I think he means questions like, "Since you know him, does Bush really masturbate while lying in a closed casket?"

Mine would be: Why didn't we finish the job in Afghanistan before rushing off to another war?

Do you think the average American and the Vice-President would give the same answer to the following question..."What's more important, loyalty to the President or loyalty to the country?"

LOL

Mr. Cheney,

When is enough money... enough?

Did you advocate a war on Iraq because you believed it was the nation that posed the most imminent threat to the US, or because it was an integral part of the PNAC agenda you co-signed nearly ten years ago?

I would ask him why the Plume leak, Halliburton, and energy meeting scandals have not yet concluded if hes so determined to know the truth

 come on conjur, i thought you had more class than that.

Considering Cheney wouldn't give an honest answer anyway, why bother with a serious question?

you obviously did not read the first post...

"not some political snipe", that little part.

Laying aside for the moment of whether the Bush Doctrine is right or wrong, as it isn't readily adaptable for countries like North Korea (since strategically we don't want risk destroying our ally South Korea in the process), what intellectually consistent alternative strategy have you developed to use instead, or is your plan to simply act in an ad hoc and opportunistic fashion depending on the actions and reactions of potential problem countries?
