The change never happened because that's how it always was, if you know what I mean.
And I was being kinda sarcastic in my other post. hehe (how can anyone "prove it?")
If you take a picture with you on a time machine - that picture remains unchanged unless it gets physically destroyed from something happening around it directly.
So if you take a picture of your family, go back to your parents' senior prom and pull the fire alarm dumping the building and shoot your "dad" dead the picture you are carrying with him is not going to change. It's just not plausible.
If you did that and went back to the present where you started from, however you can bet you things would be different. The picture, however would still be the same.
