Which one would you get right now? My system at home bombed last night when my out of warranty SATA drive died. I figure I'll replace it with a couple of 200GB drives from ZZF and try throwing in some kind of software raid to at prevent this in the future.

My system came with an ATI x300 and I've been putting off upgrading since it plays BF2, but since I have to make this order I'm gonna get a new vid card too, what should I get in that price range?

Yeah...I would like to find an ATI to GeForce benchmark chart to find out how the two product lines compete....especially with all the submodels.

I have a 6800GT running and am able to play HL2 and Doom3 without any issues.

So I'd think the 7800GT would be even better off.

I just built me a new system and bought one for less than $150: X850XT. Handles everything just fine.

...and before any nVidia fanbois start whining and comparing, I have nothing against nVidia. I simply found my X850XT at a great price.

7600GTs are a really good deal for your price range right now. They're a bit faster than the 6800gt that I have, and it'll do anything that i wanted it to, while it was working. Still in the process of RMAing it with Leadtek.
