If you had 100Mbps to play with what would you do?

My friend's boss is letting him use a 100Mbps line for anything he wants. He asked me what would be a good thing to do cause we always talked about having xxx bandwidth, and now that he has it...we don't know. He wanted to make something that can generate money to give to his boss and maybe get a raise and promotion for the idea...i told him to screw his idea and make a filesharing server, but his boss said it can be used for anything he wanted, just not anything illegal. So with that said...any ideas? I want something fun that I can benefit from lol...he wants something he can benefit from.

I cant think of a single thing now...before I dreamt about having a 10Mbps line to do this and that...now i know someone who has a 100Mbps and our minds go blank. 😵 Only thing that came up was webhosting with video and stuff, but imo thats boring.
 
You could host a CS:S server, we have a 100mbit ethernet link into Bellsouth to mirror client files for redundancy.

That $10 a month moive place and a DVD burner. That can gernerate some money for his boss. 😀
 
What? What kind of company does he work at and what kind of position is he in that they give him that kind of bandwidth and tells him he can do anything he wants?

yah. and the same question other asked... why would your boss just give you that much bandwidth.

Sounds almost like a test to me.
 
I vote for CS:S server. Back in college I used to run a CS 1.5 server and that was awesome (mainly cuz we were one of the last 1.5 servers since they brought out 1.6 and it sucked).
 
Must be a cogent $1k a month link ($3k/month for resellers). I'm not too fond of Cogent bandwidth, and if you're familiar with the industry you'll understand why, but it's a great price point.
 
Rape Microsoft's Bandwidth? They've got that in Spades. Then again there isn't really much very interesting to download from Microsoft. Nevermind.
 
Lets see I have a 100Mbit connection here is what I do with it:

Webserver
Email
Teamspeak
4 CSS servers, one stays FULL nearly 24/7 (its a glass only server)
DNS server
