if you got to know someone real well over the internet

and you talked to them on the phone, saw them on their webcam, and conversed with them for a couple of years, but yet didn't meet them... would you loan them a hundred bucks if they asked?

they have said they will pay you back asap, and have a good reason for needing the money.

Sure, why not? I suppose the worst that could happen is that they'd end up feeling uncomfortable about the whole thing.

if i knew them face to face i could kick their ass if they did not pay me back.

Depends on the types of conversations I've had with them and how easily I could afford to possibly be without $100.

If I am certain that he/she has a good, convincing reason for the money, then I would lend him/her. I will require a written agreement stating date that he/she intends to pay back, though. However, if I have no way of confirming or knowing, then hell no! I mean, you can't even trust people you know in real life borrowing money from you, how much then someone over the internet?

Frankly, if I'm not sure of someone, rather than lend him/her money and expect a repayment, I would give it to him/her without an expectation of repayment--provided the sum is one that I could afford to give out for free.

hi luvly 🙂

I wouldnt lend $100 to my own brother, let alone someone I never met. You may as well just say its a gift of $100 and not a loan, cause there is a 99% chance no matter who you lend money to, they never ever pay you back. :|

never loan money. if you think they need it and you have it to spare, give it to them. if they pay you back, then say 'wow"
