i would travel from country to country as a missionary, helping out wherever needed and maybe make my way back to Kyrgyzstan to visit some of my past students there.

I would buy homes at multiple countries, live at each place for a couple of months.. then move whenever I feel like it..

Become a member of many exclusive golf clubs..

open up some fancy restaurants..

etc etc

I wont work for money.. I will have my money work for me.. :D:D

I would eat out on the town and see shows all the time with my girlfriend. Then we'd travel to every place we could imagine. Then I'd visit some more exotic places with a friend of mine who I know would love them (places like Bangkok, African safaris, etc.). But after that, I really don't know. Hence my OP.

I've heard anecdotal evidence of senior citizens (who lived through the Depression) specifically sending in an additional check with their tax returns. The checks are earmarked "For the National Debt" or something similar. I don't know the veracity of such tales, but I agree with the sentiment.

Bump for anyone who's heard of this.

Pay off all debts of immediate family, invest 1/2 of what's left...then move to Germany and earn an M.D. while living like a king. :)

(And a few dozen million to a good cause or two.)

First $20M would go towards a trip to the ISS. Invest much of the rest and live comfortably for the rest of my life.

Continue what I'm doing, then probably buy out a few companies and create my own firm. I should be able to double it within a reasonable amount of time.
Helping out family is a given.

Rich as in $100 million, young as in 20 years old,

what would you do for the rest of your life?

Sure it'd be nice to quit work and travel and go out and have fun every night with your SO or friends or whatever but wouldn't you run out of stuff to do after a year or so and be like "Damn, now what?"?

Get richer.

invest and make more money. I'll open up a restaurant. I wanna be a business NOT a businessman.

i'd probably buy a house, settle down with my husband, travel for awhile, and then begin a family. education can be costly, so saving is still important.

Buy a chain of Subway shops and travel all over the place.

I'd also buy one hell of a home entertainment system for when I come back every few months. :)

I would sponsor a coup in Pakistan just for the heck of it. I have always dreamt myself as a man who fvcks terrorist sponsoring nations

Then when I have spent almost all of my money, I would rig the next national lottery to win my next 100 million dollars

Find a fun hobby.

Invest in 100% stock at an average 5% yield.

Enjoy life ;)

Actually, I'd spend about $10M up front on things liek a new BIG home, etc.

I'd train full time.

Travel the world.

Have a nice house and a bunch of cars (petrol head) and get lots of nice 'goodies'.

Main thing is that my family doesn't have to work and we have fun and are healthy.

The £££ would mean I wouldn't have to work and I'd train full time and travel around.

I'd invest most of it to generate more money and give some to charity, or maybe start my own charity so I'd know EXACTLY where the £££ was going.
