Correction, your buddy who wasn't hit by the train (because he wasn't stupid enough to stand on the tracks) will say it sounded like a tornado and get a good laugh.

You, on the other hand, won't be saying anything as they scrap you off the track (and train) in pieces.
 
Actually, my dad and uncle are engineers... and they both have hit people. Its a terrible thing and very emotionally damaging to the engineers seeing human remains hit the windhsield... my uncle had a young man die in his arms when they stopped the train.

Scary .... over 75% of the time they hit by trains, no matter where, it knocks them out of their shoes. Explain that.

The last time it happened, 2 years ago... my uncle THOUGHT they hit someone but couldn't tell.. the sound is a very, very distinctive "PING"..... anyway, the conductor got off, walked the line (1.5km) and didn't find anything but a pair of shoes perfectly side by side... then, someone comes running off the highway saying.. "did you guys just hit someone?!".... "well, we're trying to find that out right now... "....... "Some guy with mangled arm just ran onto the highway in his socks and got picked up by a car!"....

YIKES.
