I bet you prefer JHPs, don't you brad? Nothin' better for smacking a PCP fiend to the ground.

Yeah, but I'm just pointing out that using lingo like "hollow-point bullet" isn't helping an argument when FMJs are actually more adept at penetration, even if it doesn't matter in this case.

Well, that's what I'm issued. 165 grain Federal Hydrashok JHPs. :D

Listen to this guy...

Most people do not survive serious head wounds.

How old are you? A direct hit to the head with any high caliber gun is going to kill you.

Yes you n00b, headshot = instant kill.

Haven't you learned ANYTHING from FPS Doug?

9mm Reloads, 115gr JHP, 4.5gr Bullseye

Glock 17 1124
Glock 19 1102
Glock 26 1072

Velocity is roughly 1100 fps, you would be dead if you got hit square.

The cop examined his head and the camera showed his slightly swollen forehead with a small bloody hole...

Having a handgun like a Glock propelled through your skull at a relatively fast speed would most likely kill you.

If, however, you are talking about the rounds that Glocks fire, the Glock comes chambered for many different calibre rounds, most of which would also kill you if they were to travel through your skull at a relatively fast speed.

It just so happens that I issue myself hydrashoks too! Now if only I had the willpower to carry a gun...

Do I need to be the one to point out that "Glock" is a brand name and not a definition of calibre?

The guy who got shot in the forehead and lived was a one in a million incident. A 9mm, or 10mm or .45 (ragardless of brand) fired into your forehead, barring some kind of miracle, will kill you. End of story.

To say that a Glock isn't very powerful is exactly like saying a Ford doesn't have much horsepower. A Ford Esprit with 80hp... that would be true. A Ford F-350... well... that would be false. Eeesh...

So, yes... it would my glock could leave a big fvckin hole.

Absolutely!!! It is most likely that a headshot with pretty much any caliber that Glock handguns come in will kill you if you are shot in the head.

Is it possible that a headshot might not kill you? Sure...if the angle is right, the shape and thickness of your skull is right under those exact conditions, the bullet happens to miss any vital functions of the brain and doesn't blow the back of your skull out. Yeah. It's possible.

unless this was a act of somebody shooting into the air and it coming down, witch at that point it would hit a terminal velocity, but don't know what the terminal velocity is.
