If you get fat

It gets bigger. The edges and general appearance get softer as fat collects to form a layer between the skin and muscle/bone. That would mean that the hard chiseled jawline that women love so much goes away, cheekbones are obscured, and eyes descend into a well of mounting flesh, becoming what some call "piggish".

I'll just piggy back something to this thread.

Too many times now I've seen extremely fat people wearing inappropriate clothing. I understand people can wear what they wish, but good god people, please don't wear spandex, tube tops, miniskirts, or bare midrifts if you are extremely overweight. One lady I saw earlier had fat rolls around her stomach, legs, shoulders, and back, yet thought she could wear a mini skirt and sport bra only.

Have you ever watch those infomercials that claim this person lost 50 lbs? Ever notice the person's face doesn't change. Hmmm....

Where you gain and hold fat is purely genetic and can vary widely. Some people don't gain much fat in their face at all. Others have chubby faces even though their body isn't very chubby at all. Where the fat is lost first and last can also vary widely. But usually the mid section/love handle area of men is last to go.

In me, when I lose fat, my face and arms get lean first, and my love handles last.

I'm 6'. I do a lot of basketball and running. I tried going the "bulk" route and my body just couldn't handle the extra mass pounding on my knees and feet. My body just wasn't made to support excessive bulk.

Wow. Yeah I have crickety knees as well. I would find it extremely hard maintaining 165lbs without being very active throughout the week.

Good job with the weight loss! Food is as addictive as cigarattes (so they say).
