If you found a laptop, what would you do?

You guys are horrible at understanding English. I said IF you found one or IF I found one. I never found one. And M4H, I was just wonderin' because I know I would be pissed if someone took my laptop. I abide by the golden rule, and I wanted to see who of you also did.

Yeah, I would most likely browse the HDD, copy anything that I found interesting, THEN try to find the owner and return it. May as well get a couple of kicks while we're at it right? :-D

I'd hold it to ransom. The ransom amount would be the same as the cost of the laptop itself. Now, if the owner REALLY wanted it back ... he'd pay up otherwise, yay! free laptop for me!

Depends on what's in it hardware wise... if it's anything below P4/Centrino, or an Apple... I'd just take it to lost and found...

Otherwise I'd keep it, format it, and have me a new(ish) laptop.

No guilt involved..
