Note that people DID think it was funny, but you lack the mental capacity to comprehend the message. have a nice day, go back to kindergarden and tell mommy to hug you more.

Or, a better question,

Why is control abbreviated ctrl, but insert is spelled out? It's only 1 more letter, but the control key is wider and could easily hold that extra letter.
This very question has kept me awake for many, many nights.

I use the insert key while using Maya.

And I'm not clumsy enough to hit Insert accidentally, so having it on the keyboard isn't a liability for me. Congrats on the successful surgical removal though.

I don't get it.... why use needle-nosed pliers? Why not just pop off the insert key with a paperclip or something? And, does anyone else get those 6 keys mixed up after taking all the keys off the keyboard to clean them? But, it's not quite as bad as the arrow keys... they all look too much alike when replacing them.

Why did someone stop to photograph the insert key? Were they pondering it's beauty?

Looking at it. I laughed. No particular reason, it just looked funny.

Though, after reading on, the real reason behind it, why isn't it removed? The only time I hit it is when I accidently hit it, and I have to turn it off.
