Depends where you live. I live in a very hot and humid climate so one RARELY sees someone with a suit and tie. And those who wear it will sweat like a mofo once they hit the outdoors.

Do a google search for "guayabera" and you will see what is common here for many occasions.

I have, but few and far between. It should never be tucked in, ever. And as a previous poster commented that it works better with shorts and sandals (at which point, is it a dress shirt?).
