buhahaha moonbeam pwned you all. He answers your personal attacks with logic and reason and you all respond with more personal attacks. We all aren't smart in the same ways and moonbeam has most of us beat when it comes to insight.

"Hehe, you fatuous fat head, I could care less what your IQ or education is. So far in this thread you have offered absolutely nothing but how easily pricked your pompous ego is."

Yes, that's clearly logic and reason.

Hey Dumbo I said thing elsewhere in this thread. Don't be stupid. But actually so did Caveman, I now see regarding just not voting for the Pres. That was something of a contribution after all.

It only takes a few minutes to get a summary of each candidate's positions, and maybe a few days to have a well-informed opinion. There's still time to read up before election day and have an informed opinion when you go to the voting booth.

I think many here are actually looking for the Nazi.

I have struggled with who to vote for in the Minnesota senate race. I did not make up my mind really until this past weekend. I hate both Franken and Coleman they both are scum. I also don't want Coleman to lose and give the democrats 60 seats. I finally have decided to vote for Dean Barkley. Screw it I can't stomach voting for someone like Coleman. I am hoping many in Minnesota do the same and send a message to both major parties about nasty campaigns.

I'm going to watch and see who people who voted picked. I can't say I really like either one, but if I HAD to choose, it would be Obama over Palin.

I usually vote liberal. In 2000 I voted for Gore, and in 2004 I voted for Kerry. But as much as I like Obama, I do not like some of his strong opinions on things - they are way too much for me to personally handle. And I do consider myself liberal.

I like some of McCain's policies, and I think some of his plans (health care, etc.) COULD work and aren't complete failures like many people think, but they don't really excite me. Obama's plans make just as much sense, so it's hard for me to pick based on that. But McCain is right-winged, and traditionally I've stayed away from that because of my strong feelings towards things like the Environment, Gay Rights, and a bunch of other things.

So I'm stuck. I'm against a lot of Obama's feelings, but I'm also against a lot of McCain's. Nader, who's running Independently, doesn't really fit my bill either. The Green party candidate (her name is slipping my mind) is okay, but some of her policies on issues are similar to the one's I don't like about Obama.

So if I truly don't know who to vote for --- if no matter who I vote for, I'm going to be cringing about something in the process --- then what do I do?

Matt, I plan to vote but not for the President. I could never vote Republican and can't stand Obama. However, there are some important local questions that need to be voted on.

Right. I think that's what I'm going to do, too.
I think that a wise decision. I would hate to see you vote for Obama just to prove to yourself that your not a Bigot. Of course sunlight reflection won't like that much.

It's easy...I'm sort of undecided myself. I dislike BOTH candidates, BUT, having been a Democrat all my life, Obama will most likely get my vote.
This is yet another election where I wish there was a viable 3rd party candidate I could support.

You will vote for McCain because you are unconscious of your bigotry and it will get the best of you in the end.

I see lots of people bashing Moonie for this post, but face it, in many cases, he's right. It's called the Tom Bradley effect:

http://www.modbee.com/24hour/politics/story/476294.html

Not only might people have an underlying prejudice against the idea of a minority being elected as president, many people are afraid of being accused of being bigots and as such, lie to the pollsters rather than have to explain WHY they won't vote for Obama.

I'd also be interested in hearing about these issues that are conflicting you, because I can't imagine what they are.

Also, do you live in a swing state?

Primarily his views towards FOCA/abortion, health care, and taxes.

His views are far from extreme on freedom of choice, health care and taxes, particularly for a liberal. If those are truly your reasons for not voting for him, those are pretty weak.

If McCain is elected president next week, he has said, he would work to remove the tax preference for company health benefits and offer Americans tax credits to put toward any health plan they choose. He wants to let people buy health plans from insurance companies anywhere in the country, preempting state regulations that spell out whom insurance carriers must cover and what kinds of benefits they must provide.

McCain acknowledges that such a free-market climate would inevitably freeze out some people with serious medical problems who are looking for insurance on their own.

Thats from an CNN article on healthcare:Mccain.
Only in America do the weathly live off the hurt and pain of the poor and weak.
That should read only in "Mccain's America"...

Vote Obama. I mean really, how hard of a choice is this???
Its time people stopped voting against their best interest.
Under Mccain, you better stay healthy, or else.
