If you didn't need to sleep, what would you accomplish?

I think I'd learn a few new languages and probably spend more time playing and writing music.

What about the rest of ATOT ?

i would be a millionaire because i'd have all the time in the world to work on my startup creating an app. hope to finish it within a month and have it in beta, but i'd be long past that point if i had extra hours every day. then after grinding away for a bit and being financially stable, i'd just go travel to as many different white sand clear water beaches as i could find all over the world.

Couldn't even imagine not sleeping.

I've learned that I have a huge range of energy levels throughout the day, and that each one is good for different things and enjoyable in its own right. I wake up and want to crush it. Run, bike, lift, do housework, or get out and kill something. Afternoon, hunker down in front of a computer and do work. Evenings mellow out, enjoy TV or a movie, read a book. Then wind it down and enjoy the pure bliss of sleep.

Wouldn't want it any other way.

I had insomnia for a long time. The thing I learned is that your brain resets itself when you sleep...the highs & lows of your day mellow out & it lets you mentally recharge. Without that, you start going kinda nuts.

But no sleep? Probably double my postcount 😛

I can sleep late if I want to but every time I do I find that I'm just wasting time like watching shit I normally wouldn't watch.

Probobly just play video games. Its not like I can really do anything productive outside at night anyway. Maybe spend more time programming, I enjoy learning new languages. But mostly wishing I was asleep, I find its a great way to relieve the days stress.

Sleep is an odd thing to enjoy isn't it? But I do enjoy it for some odd reason, yet hated it as a kid. You dream odd things that you'll immediately forget, a bunch of time passes by...its just odd.

I read a book with various paranormal stuff in it once. One of which included a story, alleged true story, about a russian guy who was hit in the head with a bullet during WW2. Or maybe it was a German guy hit with a russian bullet? Anyway, he was in a coma for quite some time. When he came to, he never slept again. He worked 2 jobs both day/night and developed a typical schedule like anyone else except that he never slept.
Now how true that story is, I'll never know but if so, it's very interesting indeed. There was also, allegedly, some experiments in Russia where they used a gas of sorts to keep people awake, they went crazy and basically turned into zombies even to the point of eating themselves?
Just one of those crazy things you read on the interwebz.

I would never have to worry about being overthrown by my apprentice in my sleep.

Might develop big bags under my eyes though. :hmm:

I don't think there is a winner in this scenario.

Probably not much. I have plenty I want to do, and hardly work on in my non-sleep time, so I can't see things changing much with more free time that I'll just blow. Yes, I fail.
