If you could would you tip a vending machine?

Vending machines work 24hrs a day 7 days a week. While most waiters/waitresses work 6-8 hours. Sounds to me that they need the tip more badly.

The only reason I tip a waitress is that she's a person with feelings who is trying to make a living. Why on earth would you even consider something so ridiculous?

Edit-You'd really be tipping the guy who owns the vending machine anyway and he's already ripping you off.

i do that
i put unwanted pennies into vending machines

i hate pennies, so instead of carrying them around, i'll put my $0.90 into the coke machine, then add all the pennies from my pocket to get rid of them

then i mash the button for my coke and leave the pennies in the coin return
