Mods said they'd let him return if he publicly apologizes to the OP of that thread, but that's not in-line with his character. If he does that, he wouldn't really be theflyingpig anymore.

Yea, until this thread I had no idea she had been banned. Kinda makes me want them to post a list of banned members, so we can actually put our voice in. I really did lurk to read posts like the ones Mosh posted frequently. On ATOT, you can atleast get to know people over time and their mindsets which makes lurking fun.

I'm more for suspensions than I am for bans. Most people here just deserve a break rather than an outright ban. For you to ban someone, they have to be causing an extensive amount of work for another to be even worth the drama in the first place. A great example was the mod forum incident. The smart way to handle it would of been suspend all who did it, and just learn from YOUR mistakes. It's a bit silly to punish people for others mistakes. Banning people who made the forum enjoyable (like mosh) just turns off people like me, who come for an open environment to hang out and chat. We bring in advertisement revenue by clicking ads (no, I don't use ad-block) so in essence you are hurting our experience, causing me to hang more in other places and costing you revenue.

On the flip side, did you lose any revenue from the mod forum being leaked? Did any sponsors drop or members leave because thats just not right, having a forum error once every 5-10 years?

I'll bet you money you didn't lose anything but the time banning those people.
