Why?
because we'd go back to killing ourselves with swords, hammers and battle axes, all the while idiots like yourself would declare this new world order as "less savage."

They'd be armed and a hell of a lot of people would be dead.
If you did, Charlton Heston would rise from the dead and whip your sorry ass!
That's what they get for being uncivilized idiots who caused millions of pounds worth of damage.
Wouldn't make a whit of difference, take away whatever you want and humans will still kill each other with rocks if they have to.
Without hesitation, Yes.
If someone possessed such a button and refused to push it, I'd shoot them, then press the button.
I would. Then lets see all those punk-ass "ganstas" try some drive-by tickling.
So you'd not press it because you don't want idiots calling that kind of world less savage...?
I would only press the button if it got rid of ********.

No
I am not sure the relationship is causal or incidental, but the human history of early technology suggests that these devices established an equality of power no longer based on might. In large organized groups, strategy and manpower is more important than technology but in smaller groups techonology can be a great equalizer. Therefore the only difference between hitting each other with rocks or bombs is that we switch from might of muscle to might of mind.
Nope...blunt and edged weapons are way messier and and prolong suffering, we're gonna be killing each other one way or another at least make it as quick and efficient as possible.
I'm going to guess some vacation time will be happening?
Not necessarily...could be the same amount only more "violently"...or maybe less would "die" and more would just be horribly maimed for the rest of their lives...True, but a lot less people would die surely...
All true, but my point is that a society with rocks kills fewer than a society with bombs (quickly)
