I would like to also choose Ben and Jerry.

Look what they did for Ice Cream.

Could they do it for the country?

Excellent point!!! They could definatly do a better job than either the Democrats or Republicans!!

We need an economic boomtime and advancement in tech across the board, who better than the chair of microsoft and chair of oracle? If anyone else read the same interview i did a while back where Larry prettymuch said he'd love to "tag" every citizen, now thats advancement right there. Big Brother Society at its best from these two 😀

Hah, those clowns? Say goodbye to Americans having any jobs besides unemployment. These guys are big offshorers and big proponents of the job-replacing H1-B and L-1 visas. I wouldn't doubt they hire illegal immigrants to scrub their toliets, so Americans couldn't even get those jobs, even with a Masters degree.

John Edwards will be formatable in 08. He is already distancing himself from his support of
the war in Iraq. The dems blew it when they choose Kerry. He has some public policy position now
and is doing some studying on the subject.

Mark my words, John Edwards knows how to package himself, he is Karl Rove and Ronald Reagan all rolled into one.

Do I trust Edwards-----in a word no.------but come 08 we will choose one slickly packaged idiot or another.------and we could do worse.-----at least he came from a humble background.

Ambulance chasing trial lawyer. Almost as bad as an oil baron.

Dave McOwen. It would be hilarious. He is still running, right?

Awwww thanks. It would be hilarious.

Hilarious seeing all the corrupt folks emmigrate from the U.S. because their ilk is no longer welcome here.

Although I may not run, I have to get my bearings in Oklahoma first and my new lady wants to be first lady of our house only, not interested in sharing me with the Country.

McCain - Biden FTW!
Joseph Biden is possibly the best possible candidate we've had in decades. He's smart, he gets right to the point, he works his ass off to get good information and he makes decisions based on the facts as he sees them.

McCain seems like basically good guy, but he sold out the country when he stood on the same stage with Bushwhacko after the Bushies smeared him and questioned his patriotism, the same way they did to Kerry and Max Cleland. Although stood up and repudiated the swift boat liars, themselves, I would have been far more impressed with him if he'd had the balls to repudiate the Republican ad machine that kept capitalizing on it.

As a Republican, I wouldn't have expected him to back Kerry. He could have said everything that needed to be said by simply standing back and declining to endorse Bush. That's why I wouldn't trust McCain as President.

Here, here! 🙂

Tancredo for President, Jim Gilchrist (Minutemen 2005 founder) VP. Get the damn border sealed and start MASS deportations.

Well I think he did all he could when he spoke out against the swift boat ads. However, he said it was fair game to criticize Kerry for what he did after the war... it was just the first ad that he was against.

BTW, when will somebody in the senate have the balls to carry out campaign reform that everyone was promising they would do during '04 (as they have been during every election)???? Make the 527s illegal for crying out loud.. Americans deserve better.

I wouldn't be surprised of someone chose
God for president
Jesus for vice president.

Nice flamebait, moron.

Looks like you got offended. I'm not surprised seeing that you have the word god in your name.

No, I didnt get offended.

I am sick and fvcking tired of you left-ist children spouting off the anti-religious trash all the time. Grow up.

lol, speaking of children...

I don't have a name, I have an ideal.

First rule, he/she can't want it. Anyone who seeks power should be kept from it with every fiber of our beings.

Second rule, at some point in their lives they must have existed on no more than middle-class income. It could be when they were a kid, and quickly turned into affluence, but they MUST have some common frame of reference.

Third rule, they need to be of appreciable intellect, and convey at least a sense of moderate intelligence. Nothing shatters confidence in a nation like hearing Bush open his mouth.

Fourth rule, they place supreme value in the individual, and in all things which support the individual (ie bill of rights (and I mean all of them, not all but #2, etc)).

Fifth rule, they can absolutely (or nearly so) seperate themselves from their office. I don't want to have any clue what their religious beliefs are, or personal biases or bigotries. Neutrality.

Sixth, they firmly believe that the executive branch of the government has become overpowered and must be largely castrated to bring it back into check/balance with the other branches. Ideally they see the role of president as figurehead, negotiator and compromiser, and very little else besides.

Seventh, they believe in open dissemination of information. No more secrets, no more cover-ups. Out in the open dealings only. National security is NOT a shield to hide our mistakes.

Eighth, they take responsibility for EVERYTHING they do, or could possibly have control over. Making mistakes is normal, just admit it and move on.

Ninth, they will not spend one cent more than the government brings in, except during times of ACTUAL war or extreme emergency. Those debts will then be paid off as first priority after the events. Debt and deficits must be utterly eradicated.

Tenth, force is always a last resort, but when necessary should be absolute.

Eleventh, America stops at its borders. Quit trying to run the world. (note: providing humanitarian aid oversees is fine, as is fair international trade...no more covert government ops though).

I could go on another ten or twenty, but by number three there probably wasn't a viable candidate, so what's the point.
