Definitely the 80's. Was in my early 20's, maybe I could fix some mistakes I did during that decade.

2200 in America. It would be interesting to see how much society and technology has advanced in 200 years.

Edit: Re-read the OP; it says recorded history. In that case, I would choose the 1960s in England.

I was thinking the same thing. Go back in time and dump all my money into Microsoft and Apple stock or something. Come back to the present and be rich!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

She would concur us all and rule as a GOD!
If she's going to be that agreeable, that's fine by me! ^_^

I think I'd be happiest in the '90s. It's hard to live without the Internet. Maybe I could set up emails to be sent to myself later, too. Though in the '70s, maybe I could help RMS create more patent-free algorithms before they were otherwise invented! :sneaky:

I for one worship at the feet of our Rubycon goddess.:p

The 60's and 70's were fun times overall, but I think I'd like to go back to an earlier time...say the 1860's-1880's and live, either a cowboy/gunfighter life, or a mountain man trapper. (probably have to go back to the 1830's for that one.) shack up with hot Indian (feather, not dot) wimmenz.

I'd pick right now. I was bored a lot as a kid because there was no internet. I remember watching infomercials and soap operas on sick days because there was literally nothing else to do. I still remember all the reasons you should buy this amazing ronco food dehydrator.

My parents' description of their childhoods is even worse. No internet, and there were only 3 TV channels because nobody had cable or satellite TV. My dad lived on a farm so he had only 1 TV channel and his friends lived ridiculously far away. Imagine being bored for every minute that you're not working. It's not a mystery why every farmer I've ever met is an alcoholic.

I'm addicted to the Internet too. But I could easily live in another decade that was interesting in other ways. There are these things called books, movies, other people, society, history, that I hear are interesting too :)

Living in a previous decade would be like living in a shitty thriftstore. Everything material would suck, and there's no reason to think people would be any better. I'd pick the 2010s, now, because I've a good feeling about this decade.

Not sure, but I hated Liver as a kid and I was a kid in the '70's, so I would not want Liver in the '70's. I could stand and actually enjoy Liver in the '90's, so I pick the '90's.

Hahahahahahaahaha..

90's good times in the 90s

2000-2010 sucked balls

And those were the good times.

Kewl - I just forgot the rules. Damet. I would have loved to be an adult during the 90's - love 90s music. Oh, I would live in on a Polynesian Island:)
