Does owning a company require you to run it?

Not always you can hire a CEO and maintain chairman of the board, or you can be the CEO and chairman so its all up to you if you want to run things and keep an eye on everything or put your trust in someone else and hope they dont drive the company in the ground.

BMW so I could fire Bangle.

Ooo! Good one!
I was going to say the US, but since I'll own that anyway within 20 or 30 years, I'll take Exxon-Mobil. Oh man, that'd be fun to mess with. 100% of R&D into renewable energy- change the world, and make an obscene amount of money doing it.

Or go broke once you find out spending $100 billion a year didn't do much for finding renewable energy (that would change the world).

We'll see who's laughing when fusion becomes practical...and it WILL.

100% may be a bad idea, but you bet the energy companies are investing in alternatives...

I would own Union Aerospace Corporation. Fun toys, plus evil. How cool would that be?

TaylorMade Golf ... all the free clubs I wanted, pro-am rounds with the pros I'd sponsor and tickets to all the best events 🙂

Costco for its excellent business ethics.

Or Walmart so I could turn it into an ethical company while still raking in bajillions.
