assuming I could live comfortably middle class wherever I lived? san fransisco.

I hate California as a practice, but I was out in SF for a week a couple years ago and it felt like coming home.

I could probably have a job in the bay area by the end of the weekend if I really wanted one, but I couldn't see living comfortably out there on 50K.

alternatively, I've wanted to move to Astoria, OR ever since I first saw Goonies.
