If i were able to make a couple changes to professional sports I'd start with these two.

#1 - Intentional walk puts the guy on second. You could argue that it's the umps discression, but if he (the pitcher) is trying to hide an intentional walk the batter may get a chance.

#2 - Holding is a 5 yard penalty. I hate when drives go from 1st and 10 to 1st and 20 cause the ref was annoyed about something.

anything that bugs you guys?

I'd make baseball a full contact sport so everyone has to wear body armor. I don't know why, but I think it'd be fun to watch.

Edit: Minendo, that'd be hilarious.

Tennis would be scored: 0, 1, 2, 3... not Luv, 15, 30, 40 whatever....

I don't even watch tennis, but I still think the scoring is lame.

In Response to #2: For anyone whos actually played football, you realize how much a b!tch holding is. Especially if you're only a an arm's length away from making the tackle. They're pretty liberal about it in the NFL, so if you get a holding penalty, you pretty much deserve it.

As far as Women's beach volleyball is concerned, it must be played topless.

I'd also do away with the fair catch.

That would be pretty dangerous for the punt returner wouldn't it.

I'd make moving a muscle in soccer against the rules. Then people wouldn't play it and fans would no longer kill each other, shoot referees, and stampede. Oh but wait, this is in supposedly civilized countries... ;)

Golf would never be televised again
Baseball would not only be made full contact, but every time a batter hits a homerun, instead of running around the bases, he would run up and kick the pitcher in the balls.
Football can be left alone
Soccer riots would be mandatory
Hockey is fine
Full contact basketball
Nascar would have no restrictor plates, ever.

I agree with the holding suggestion. How about having non-fatal land mines under the turf during a football game?
