thats exactly what it sounds like minus the dial tones, only not louder, thats dependant on volume. But all data across copper sounds like various beeps n such.

just hook any copper data line to a speaker. now data going through fiber is light may sound different assuming you had some device to convert it to audio but i'd guess it wouldnt make any sound anyway.
