the power to hold my breath for hours and dive to the bottom of the ocean would be cool

I think you'd need more than breath control and lung capacity--say, the reinforced skeleton/exoskeleton, complete lack of skeleton + spongy tissues, or simply massive girth to withstand all of that pressure.

They have a lot of other abilities. The increased metabolism that enables flight creates huge body temperature swings that kill most viruses and bacteria, but they live in extremely dense populations that spread disease anyway. As a result they have an extremely good immune system to boot. Anything those two factors can't handle gets almost completely suppressed by their bodies which rarely show any symptoms and still continue normal lives (that's why they can be carriers so readily). Add in their heightened senses and you'd be a superman.

Watch out for that nose fungus though. It's a killer!

OK.... well.... animals don't have "powers", they are all naturally occurring genetic normality given the anatomy of said creature.

Unless we mean, what traits would I want in my current human form that other animals possess. In which case, my answer would probably be Pistol Shirmp. You would not mess with me. Evar.

And where exactly would you be releasing all that pressure from?

I dunno man - having to contain all that gas all the time would be uncomfortable. The release would be exquisite, but the build up . . . ugh.
