If you could have one wish, what would that wish be?

Infinite wishes.

that kinda contradicts the "one" wish doesn't it?

I was given one wish, I used that wish in a capitalistic manner, and procured many more wishes, I did not break any agreements or contracts, I think I did pretty well.

No, you have one wish now, and then infinite wishes later one, not both at the same time.

Analogy: If you could have one car, what would it be?

You pick a car, you then sell that car for $10,000,000 and buy many cars. You trade the one initial car for the many cars. Same thing with wishes, only you can get an infinite amount....

Ahh but what if omnipotence isnt what its cracked up to be? What if you cant stand watching those you care about die as you live forever? What if the universe collapses leaving you the size of a proton crunched together with the rest of existence? If you wish for unlimited wishes you can wish for omnipotence and have a safety net if you want to change it.

You can change the world to your liking, and just end your existance whenever you want. Omnipotence means you can make yourself or anyone else immortal or mortal.

A wish can be interpreted in different ways, which means they can turn out nasty if your wording isn't quite right. With omnipotence you can fullfill them yourself.

I stand corrected. I believe I confused omnipotence with immortality.

I think the first order of business would be to eliminate the mods....

j/k :D

I think finding yourself eliminated in very short order far more likely.

I would make a list and wish that anything that was written on that list would come true when I wanted it to.

Careful with that, someone might write something else on it too...
