I'd go back to junior high and tell myself that I'd never get another chance to go after the girl I'd been crushing on for 3 years, so suck it up and go for it before it's too late.

Speaking from my own experience, that girl is never 'the one' you hope she is. At best she's just a glimpse of normalcy, and things won't work out with her.

Well, then speaking from my own experience, you end up getting engaged to them.

no, but I was a total asshat for being too afraid to try. found out a couple years later that she felt the same way about me for about the same amount of time.

You're missing some key facts about the characters involved in this discussion. I'll leave it at that.

I'd go back to October of 1995 to right before my Dad passed away
and talk to him a lot.

I was very close to him and usually talked to him daily, but for some reason
2 weeks before he passed....we were both extremely busy and had not talked :(

Good one.....

Another one for me would be:

Location: The Moon, Tranquility Base
Date: July 20,1969
Time: 7:17AM PST

On July 20, 1969, the human race accomplished its single greatest technological achievement of all time when a human first set foot on another celestial body.

Six hours after landing at 4:17 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (with less than 30 seconds of fuel remaining), Neil A. Armstrong took the ?Small Step? into our greater future when he stepped off the Lunar Module, named ?Eagle,? onto the surface of the Moon, from which he could look up and see Earth in the heavens as no one had done before him.

He was shortly joined by ?Buzz? Aldrin, and the two astronauts spent 21 hours on the lunar surface and returned 46 pounds of lunar rocks. After their historic walks on the Moon, they successfully docked with the Command Module ?Columbia,? in which Michael Collins was patiently orbiting the cold but no longer lifeless Moon.

Same place, same date, but 7:16 AM PST. I'd love to see the look on Neil's face when he sees me standing there already on the moon waving at him :)

Exactly my thought as I read the OP. You can take the Grassy Knoll; I'll take the 6th floor.

I think I'd go back to that moment in time when the 1st religous zealot had the thought that going to war to impose his beliefs on others was a good idea and try to talk him out of it.

If I could go back and *change* something:

May 29, 2003
4000 Columbus-Lancaster Rd
Columbus, OH

The night I graduated from high school... instead of trying to be perfect, and ultimately embarassing the entire board of education, I should have been 'myself', tried to be more relaxed, and should have given my grandmother a huge hug before she went back to the hospital, instead of being "manly" around my "friends" (that I haven't spoken with since).
