And you could choose your sex, would you choose to be male or female? Give reasons for your choices.

I would stay a male. I can't figure women out, so why would I want to be one?

Male. Growing up female, it seemed people cared more about what I looked like than how smart I was. You learn how to manipulate and cajole by using your 'assets' which is a very empty way of relating.

I would be born again as a male geek all the way, and hope some sweet, intelligent woman who could look through appearances would see the value in me.

I'd stay female...
For all the trouble and bother being female causes, I don't know that I'd be the kind of person i am without every second of every day that's helped shape me for who I am. I also like that there is no particular stigma attached to females being able to express their emotions, whether it's happiness, anger, or sadness... I can cry in public if I need to, and there's not a huge social barrier that says I shouldn't. Also, I think women, in this day and age, have 100% more going for them than at any previous time. I wouldn't want to miss out on those experiences for the world.

It depends. If I were born again in the last 2 decades, most probably female. I agree with Herself that it's a lot better for women now.
However if it were any other time, maybe male.

Lesbian Female.... but I'd probably never leave home...;)

EDIT: Seriously... the only problem with being a woman as far as I'm concerned is the sexual one.. I.E. having sex with men... blech... I can't even think in that direction... but being a woman... and being with women.... now that is an... arousing concept. As far as social stigmas and culture... I think there are advantages and disadvantages to both... of course I prize the physical strength, and masculinity I currently posses... I twinge at the idea of giving them up...

It's difficult to even think of not being a man... but I think I could deal with these adaptations... the sex thing... I'm sure if I actually was a woman it wouldnt be a problem... but as I am a Man... well... you get the idea...
