Pretty nerdy question by the way, but I'll post my equally corny reply...

If my ego was slightly larger, I would want to be a printer cartridge. Can't get any tangible results without me, everyone is trying to imitate me with a cheaper knock off, and I'm so valuable that it's cheaper to replace the entire printer than replace me.
