What would it be?

It is entirely possible I will have the ear of a couple of top-level engineers tomorrow, specifically regarding their plans for supporting the video production world and dual-monitor setups. I thought I might give all of you an opportunity to ask a question or two. Now mind you, I may not even end up talking with them, but if I do, then my questions come first, but if I have some time leftover, I will certainly do some asking for all of you.

Will they have something to compete with the AIW radeon 8500 in the future?? Will they ever use dual (or more) GPU's on one graphics board?

Good question... bad idea... ATi is proof enough that multi processors are bad...

The GF3 Ti500 does NOT compete with the AIW 8500DV...it competes with the regular 8500

Actually... I take it back...

Geforce 3 Ti 500

Extra-expensive-not-needed-add-ons aside.... GF3Ti500 is superior in performance. The AIW in my opinion is a waste for a few reasons:
1. Buying anything that integrates so many items together is a bad investment... one goes bad and it's replacement time
2. ATi Driver support, nuf said
3. It's canadian ;) (j/k)
4. Too many attachments....

I'd rather take the $400 and buy a GF3Ti500 and a real mm card...

You're right... the GF3 kicks it's butt in benchmarks!

Somehow I'm doubting benchmarks are the number one factor for those that are buying an All In Wonder.

They have the nVidia Personal Cinema, it's not quite as feature filled as the AIW 8500DV however, and so far as I'm aware it's only available based on GF2 MX cards.

heh, a WORKING personal Cinema??

I think I've seen 2 reviews hinting towards their Personal Cinema working, one of them didn't even bother proving it with a picture so I don't believe them (yet). Perhaps the latest nVidia drivers changed that (hey who knows!).

but come on, the Personal Cinema can't touch the AIW Radeon 8500, in performance AND features (unless someone decides to release one for GF3).. if they want to completely take over ATi, that's one place they're going to have to excel in.

I didnt say it worked worth a damn, just that it was nVidia's version of the AIW. ;)
It does do one thing well though... it's does very well at proving that nVidia drivers arent always good.... sometimes they even make ATi look wonderful in that respect. :D

How about why the Direct3D settings in the registry are now with the 23.11 drivers cryptic strings of numbers as opposed to actuall words as in their drivers before. And why they don't allow a quick way to adjust FSAA settings, like maybe make it a pop-up option in the QuickTweak icon you can add to the systray.

I would ask for their opinions and thoughts on a 256-bit path to memory...... 64x4 LightSpeed style!!!
